The Governor's Interagency Council on Health Disparities
(the Health Disparities Council) was established by the Legislature in 2006
when it passed, and the Governor signed,
Substitute Senate Bill 6197.

Action to End Health Disparities (NPA)
The NPA is an initiative of
the federal Office of Minority Health.
The aim of the NPA is to mobilize partners in a
coordinated approach to end health disparities and to move
the nation toward achieving health equity. We
